IntelliWrap PR by IMETCO is a permeable, self-adhering roofing underlayment that provides a water- and air-tight vapor-permeable barrier for a variety of roofing systems, including standing seam metal, slate tile, clay tile, and cedar shingle roofs. It’s designed for steep slope roofs (2:12 or more) but can also be used with lower slope roofs. Its vapor permeability expedites the drying of building materials, which significantly reduces the risk of moisture infiltration.
The underlayment meets ASTM E2178 air-barrier resistance and can withstand temperatures as high as 250 degrees F. It’s compatible with a wide range of substrates, including fiberglass-reinforced gypsum sheathing board, rigid insulation, concrete, plywood, steel, galvanized metal, aluminum, and OSB. It bonds fully without the use of primers and requires no special tools to install.
